Who we are

Salibo.co.uk is a site operated by Salibo Ltd (We). We are registered in England and Wales under company number 16376153 and have our registered office at South Dock Marina, Rope Street, London, England, SE16 7SZ.

Salibo is a distinguished platform that facilitates connections between licensed security professionals and individuals or businesses in need of their services. These Terms apply to all users, including vendors and contractors.

Acceptance

By using our site, downloading the app or using our services, you confirm that you accept these terms of service and that you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our site or platform.

Privacy Policy

Please refer to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and store your personal data.

Modification

We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and mobile apps.

Platform Availability

We do not guarantee that our site, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend or withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of our site for business and operational reasons. We will try to give you reasonable notice of any suspension or withdrawal.

You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our site through your internet connection are aware of these terms of service and other applicable terms of service, and that they comply with them.

Account Security

If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential. You must not disclose it to any third party.

We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of service.

Profile Verification

All users are required to verify their identities and adhere to Salibo's vetting procedures prior to engaging in bookings or job applications.

Independent Contractors

All security professionals on the Salibo platform are independent, self-employed individuals.

Misuse of the Platform

Users are strictly prohibited from misusing the Salibo platform, engaging in any unlawful behaviour, or circumventing platform protocols. Any form of malicious use, false representation, or abuse will result in the immediate termination of the user's account.

Salibo reserves the right to seek legal compensation and recover any lost revenue resulting from such misuse.

Restrictions

Clients are strictly prohibited from engaging directly with any security officer introduced through the Salibo platform for a period of six months following their last engagement on the app. This condition applies equally to all users of the platform.

Limitation of Liability

We will not be liable to you for any loss or damage arising under or in connection with:

• use of, or inability to use, our site;
• any services provided;
• use of or reliance on any content displayed on our site.

We will not be liable for:

• loss of profits, sales, business, or revenue;
• business interruption;
• loss of anticipated savings;
• tax, insurance, or employment related matters concerning the independent contractors;
• loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation;
• any indirect or consequential loss or damage.

Payment Terms

Users agree to pay all fees associated with the use of the Salibo platform in accordance with the payment terms specified. Payment must be made using the methods specified by Salibo.

Cancellation

Security officers may cancel a confirmed shift at least 48 hours in advance without penalty. Failing to attend a shift or cancelling within 48 hours without a valid reason will be treated as a no-show or late cancellation.

• First Offence: 3 penalty points
• Second Offence: 3 additional points
• Third Offence: 3 more points + rating point deduction
• Fourth Offence: 3 more points + six-month suspension + rating point deduction

Any officer who loses 9 out of the 10 rating points within a 12-month period will be suspended from the platform for one year.

Termination

Salibo reserves the right to terminate or suspend a user's account at any time for breach of these terms or for any reason deemed necessary. Upon termination, access to the platform will cease immediately.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Salibo platform and its content are owned by Salibo or its licensors. Unauthorised use is strictly prohibited.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
